Kathleen's parents taught her the value of physical fitness and nutrition at a young age. She played competitive basketball and softball at the age of 10 and played varsity sports throughout high school, where she set multiple school records. She was voted the Most Valuable Player of her high school's State Championship cross country team. After competing in sports, she continued training and realized she had a love for fitness. She is now dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness goals. She believes that being physically healthy helps you feel better mentally and emotionally. Kathleen wants everyone to have fun while getting fit, which is why Kathleen's training philosophy is to be flexible and find the right path for each person.

Marie-Elena specializes in teaching P90X Live, INSANITY Live, Pound and PIYO Live classes; the hottest and most demanding classes out there that deliver incredible results.  Marie-Elena brings a super fun, motivating, extremely energetic and no-nonsense approach to all of her classes.  Her passion for teaching these classes shines through in every class.  You are in the hands of an instructor that is going to help you get the most out of every single workout.   She is big on making sure that you are using proper form and technique and will guide you through all of the moves so that you never compromise form.   It is the quality of the training that influences your progress and results, and not the quantity. A tremendous motivator; by the end of each class, you will feel the satisfaction of pushing past your plateaus. She enjoys keeping things fresh, fun and challenging.   She continues to grow; taking new trainings and certifications to be sure to have the most current information for her students and to master her skills.  She is currently working towards a NASM Personal Training Certification.

Her enthusiasm for fitness is compelling and undeniable. So if you want a great workout, an intense workout that is challenging for every fitness level (from beginner to elite) a workout that will have you feeling powerful and able to accomplish anything you put your mind to, then attending her class is a must. Chloe was born and raised in Battery Park City in Lower Manhattan. From a young age, she was pursuing her athletic passions through dance, gymnastics, and figuring skating and horseback riding competitions.

When it came time for college, Chloe decided to head out of the city and attended Hofstra University in Long Island, New York. She studied public relations and speech communication, but still held her passion for athletics. She continued to train through college and eventually fell in love with cycling and lifting. While she holds a BA from Hofstra, she decided to pursue her athletic dreams and enter the field of personal training, group instructing and promoting health and fitness. She is currently a certified Schwinn Cycling Instructor and is studying for NASM Personal Training and AFAA Group Fitness certifications.

Some of her fitness accomplishments include the Spartan Sprint Citi Field, Rugged Maniac, The Epic Ride 40mi, City Challenge, Escape New York Half Century (50mi).

Alyssa has a strong passion for fitness, health, and wellness. She believes that a
person should strive to make healthy living an overall attainable lifestyle change.
Originally from Leominster Massachusetts, she earned her Bachelor of Science
degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. This is also
where her curiosity and experience teaching group fitness classes and personal
training began. She then went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University with emphases in fitness and wellness management, sport psychology, and strength and conditioning. She has experience teaching numerous group fitness classes such as TRX, Zumba, Spinning, Bootcamp, and Cardio Kickboxing. She is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, ACSM Certified, Exercise Physiologist, and AFAA Primary Group Fitness Instructor.

David Breitenbach was born in the USA and raised in Germany by a mother from Puerto Rico and a German father. He is a physical therapist, personal trainer and has been working internationally as a Zumba Instructor since 2010. Due to his teaching zumba fitness with all his heart and a passion and love for this sport, David worked on improving his skills to become a Zumba Jammer in 2014. Jazmin was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. At the age of eight, she started her dance training at the University of Chile. She began her career as a dance educator in 1995, teaching modern dance and jazz dance. In 1999, she expanded her education, and began in the area of fitness, incorporating her knowledge of dance and pedagogy in dance. She has developed a lifelong career for the last 20 years in fitness, and more than 30 years in dance.

In 2000, she begin to master her dancing skills and incorporated the technique of Bellydance. Her dedication and discipline pushed her to learn more and start start her Zumba certification, teaching and working with new students, sharing her knowledge and experiences as a dancer and instructor.

Austin is originally from Roodhouse, Illinois and moved to West Palm Beach to pursue fitness opportunities. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning from Western Illinois University. Austin is currently certified as a USAW Sports Performance Coach and is pursuing his Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, fishing, and maintaining his own personal fitness. Austin has previously worked as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, as well as a sports performance coach.

“I’m sure if I asked my mom she would probably say I came out dancing,” says Dana. Dana was part of a West African dance troupe and has always loved music and dance whether it’s the beat of the drums, the Latin rhythms, hip hop, jazz, samba or belly dancing. After the birth of her second child, she found the weight was not as easy to fall off so Dana took a Zumba class and was hooked! Dana quickly became a Zumbaholic and, in 2008, decided the only thing left for her to do was become a certified Zumba instructor. Dana still has a blast every class teaching this energetic, fun workout in disguise. Move your body and follow her lead to exotic rhythms and a calorie-burning workout. No prior dance experience is necessary. The only prerequisite is that you smile and have fun. Let’s dance our way to fitness!

Nancy Mantell has over 20 years experience in personal training and over 10 years experience teaching yoga. She has been certified by AFFA and Fitness Institute. Upon completion of 200 hours of yoga instructor training, she went on to finish another 40 hour advanced intensive instructor training with Rodney Yee in California. Nancy brings a creative and flowing style to her classes and a personalized approach to developing fitness programs for her individual clients.

Gregg Weiss is a certified Pilates instructor and has been teaching Pilates at Ultima Downtown since 2011. Prior joining the group fitness staff at Ultima, he had been a member since 2004 actively participating in the group exercise classes. Gregg was certified as a group exercise instructor while living in California in 1998. He has had a successful business career in the technology sector before retiring in 2000. Gregg is married to Rebecca and they share their house with their cats in their 1924 historic Flamingo Park home.

Jason received his Bachelor’s Degree in 2010 with a concentration in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College in Massachusetts while completing his internship at the University of Hartford in Connecticut working as a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level. In 2011, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association which requires a Bachelor’s Degree and is considered the gold standard in the industry. After college Jason has worked as a trainer around Cape Cod and in Boston Massachusetts. His clients have been athletes, pre/post natal, pre/post rehab, special populations, and significant weight loss stories of 50lbs or more. Jason made the change to move to Florida in October of 2015 and is thrilled to be part of Ultima team.
